How To Celebrate Easter With Your Pet While Ensuring Safety?

Easter brings the element of colorful joy to the whole family. Of course, the family includes our bundles of four-legged furry joys that we can’t live without. These cute little furries also deserve to have a special day full of Easter fun and love. Here is how you can celebrate Easter with your doggo and meows in the eggciting way that they will always remember while keeping them safe.

Pick a Fun Easter Style

No celebration feels like a celebration without dressing up for it. Wouldn’t you agree? Play Easter special dress-up with your fur baby. Dress them up in cute dog accessories, dog clothes, and stylish outfits in pastel tones and cosy prints.

Easter Hunt for Dog Treats

What’s Easter without a treasure hunt? What is the perfect treasure for our little furries? Pet treats, loads and loads of it (to eat in limitation, of course). It is the perfect time to organize a treasure hunt for them. And it’s super simple to organize.

Just pick their favourite treats and hide them between the easter eggs. Keep the eggs in various spots of the house wherever your fur baby walks through. Let him or her enjoy the victory treat and have fun Easter moments as they do.

How To Keep Your Furry Safe on Easter?

  • If you are using plastic grass for decorating the Easter basket, then keep a watchful eye on your fur baby. If they accidentally eat it, it can cause serious issues to their internal system.
  • Keep the eggs that your fur baby is going to hunt colored in a separate tone than the others so you can direct your fur baby toward playing with those.

Keep your fur baby away from these traditional Easter treats as these can pose potential dangers to your pet’s health.

  • Grapes, currants
  • Chocolate
  • Nuts (particularly Macadamia)
  • Candies & chewing gum

Chocolate is akin to poison when it comes to your pet’s health. Hence, make sure to avoid it at all costs. Instead, opt for healthy pet treats. However, if your fur baby accidentally consumes one of these, then it is better to bring them over to a vet for consultation.
